SAP ABAP Integration Developer – Supply Chain Interfaces

Role Overview

We are looking for a strong hands-on SAP ABAP Developer to support a global fashion and retail client with troubleshooting, stabilization, and enhancement of integrations between Infor GT Nexus and SAP.

The immediate priority is to investigate and resolve issues with Supply Chain interfaces, particularly ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) related integrations flowing between Infor GT Nexus and SAP.

This is a hands-on technical role. We need someone who can independently analyze existing interfaces, identify root causes, debug ABAP and integration issues, and implement reliable fixes with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and troubleshoot Infor GT Nexus to SAP integration issues
- Focus initially on ASN related interfaces and inbound/outbound supply chain transactions
- Debug existing SAP ABAP programs, interfaces, enhancements, and related objects
- Troubleshoot IDocs, including failed IDocs, status errors, data mapping issues, partner profiles, and processing logic
- Perform root cause analysis across the end-to-end interface flow rather than simply correcting individual failures
- Develop and modify ABAP programs, function modules, user exits, BADIs, enhancements, and interface programs as required
- Analyze issues involving SAP integration technologies such as IDoc/ALE, RFC, BAPI, APIs, flat files, XML or middleware integrations
- Work with SAP functional, supply chain,



Infor GT Nexus, and business teams to diagnose integration issues
- Support testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post-production stabilization
- Document fixes and recommend improvements to reduce recurring interface failures
- Proactively identify additional opportunities to improve the reliability and automation of Supply Chain integrations

Required Skills

Must Have

- 7+ years of strong hands-on SAP ABAP development
- Strong experience with SAP interfaces and integration development
- Deep experience troubleshooting IDocs/ALE
- Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
- Experience with Supply Chain processes and interfaces
- Understanding of ASN, Purchase Orders, Shipments, Goods Receipt and related logistics transactions
- Experience supporting complex production interfaces
- Ability to understand existing custom ABAP code quickly and independently troubleshoot issues
- Solid communication skills and ability to work directly with technical and functional stakeholders

Strongly Preferred

- Previous experience with Infor GT Nexus / Infor Nexus
- Experience integrating SAP with external Supply Chain, logistics, vendor collaboration, or B2B platforms
- Fashion, retail, apparel, or consumer products industry experience
- Knowledge of SAP MM/SD and related logistics processes
- Experience with EDI and supply chain message flows such as 850, 856/ASN, 810, or equivalent SAP IDoc transactions
- Experience working in a global SAP environment
