Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have • Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce application testing across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

- Experience in functional, system, integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing of Salesforce solutions
- Positive understanding of Salesforce objects, fields, record types, workflows, flows, validation rules, approval processes, and security model
- Hands-on experience in test planning, test scenario preparation, test case design, execution, and defect management
- Experience validating Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and tools such as Postman
- Experience in backend and data validation using SOQL and SQL
- Knowledge of test automation using Selenium with Java or an equivalent automation framework
- Experience working with defect and test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or Azure DevOps
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology, software testing life cycle, and defect life cycle

Good-to-Have • Experience with automation frameworks designed for Salesforce applications




- Knowledge of Salesforce Experience Cloud and Financial Services Cloud
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado or Gearset
- Experience in performance, accessibility, and mobile application testing
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder
- Knowledge of the BFSI or insurance domain

SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Analyse business and functional requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data

2 Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing of Salesforce applications

3 Validate Salesforce configurations, customisations, Lightning components, flows, security controls, and business processes

4 Test Salesforce integrations and APIs and verify data accuracy using SOQL and SQL queries

5 Develop and maintain reusable automated test scripts and execute regression test suites

6 Log, track, retest, and communicate defects while collaborating with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery
