Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Salesforce Developer with 5 -8 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and customization. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce integrations, automation, data modeling, testing, and deployment.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions while working closely with business analysts, Salesforce administrators, technical architects, and other development teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications based on business and technical requirements.
- Develop robust and scalable solutions using Apex, Apex Triggers, Classes, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex, and asynchronous processing.
- Build modern and reusable Lightning Web Components (LWC) using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Salesforce Lightning Design System.
- Develop and optimize SOQL and SOSL queries and perform DML operations while following Salesforce governor limits and best practices.
- Develop custom business logic using Apex and determine when to use declarative functionality versus programmatic solutions.
- Work with Salesforce Flow, validation rules, formula fields, approval processes, and automation.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST/SOAP APIs, HTTP callouts, Platform Events, and other integration mechanisms.
- Develop secure and efficient solutions following Salesforce security and sharing principles.
- Design and maintain Salesforce data models, including objects, fields, relationships, record types, and external IDs.
- Write comprehensive Apex test classes and ensure adequate test coverage and code quality.
- Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
- Optimize existing Salesforce applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure development standards and best practices are followed.
- Work with Git/source-control and Salesforce development tools as part of the development lifecycle.




- Support deployments across development, sandbox, UAT, and production environments.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technically sound Salesforce solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation for customizations, integrations, development processes, and implemented solutions.
- Stay updated with Salesforce platform releases, new features, development frameworks, and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

Salesforce Development

- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Development.
- Excellent knowledge of Apex programming.
- Strong experience with Apex Triggers, Classes, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex and Scheduled Apex.
- Strong knowledge of SOQL and SOSL.
- Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- Experience with Salesforce Flow and declarative automation.
- Understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits, Order of Execution and transaction management.
- Robust understanding of Salesforce data modeling and relationships.
- Experience with Salesforce security, profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and field-level security.

Integration & APIs

- Strong experience integrating Salesforce with external systems.
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Apex callouts.
- Knowledge of JSON/XML and web services.
- Experience working with middleware/integration platforms is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Platform Events or event-driven integrations is preferred.

Testing & Deployment

- Strong experience writing Apex test classes and performing unit testing.
- Experience with debugging and performance optimization.
- Experience with Salesforce CLI / Salesforce DX and deployment processes.
- Good understanding of Git/version control and CI/CD.
- Experience working with sandbox, UAT, and production environments.

Preferred Qualifications





- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is preferred.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification will be an added advantage.
- Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience working on enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
- Exposure to DevOps tools and Salesforce CI/CD practices.
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or other Salesforce clouds is an advantage.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent professional experience may also be considered.

Required Experience 5-8 years of total IT experience with strong hands-on Salesforce development experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a hands-on Salesforce Developer with 5-8 years of experience who can independently take a requirement from analysis technical design development testing deployment production support. Strong expertise in Apex + LWC + SOQL/SOSL + integrations + Salesforce automation is mandatory. Salesforce certifications, enterprise implementation experience, CI/CD exposure, and strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture and security will be highly valued.

Key Requirement:

Salesforce Developer with hands-on experience in Amazon Connect (IVR) and NLP (Natural Language Processing), including integration of Salesforce with Amazon Connect and implementation of conversational/voice-based solutions.
