Roles and responsibilities for Salesforce testing lead:

Defining and executing the end-to-end quality assurance strategy for Salesforce platforms, covering Sales, FSL and Service clouds.

Defines the overall Salesforce QA strategy, including test planning, setting management, and data management across sandboxes, QA and production.

Drives the transition from manual to automated testing, designing scalable, low-code/no-code automated test suites (e.g., using Provar).

Oversees defect triage, conducts root cause analysis, and ensures high-priority issues are resolved by development teams.

Oversees regression testing, parallel test runs, and cross-cloud integration validation (e.g., APIs, Apex, Lightning Web Components).

Partners with Product Managers, Architects, and Release Management to align testing with business requirements.





Establishes and tracks testing KPIs, providing visibility into release risk, coverage, and quality.

Ensures testing complies with security, data integrity, and regulatory standards

Coordinates User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validates final production deployments.

Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, metadata-driven development, and tools like Flosum.

Domain Knowledge: Expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning implementations and E2E testing.

Ability to create detailed Manual test cases for Functional, E2E business flows

Strong expertise in deriving metrics, Risk/Mitigation plans.
