Project Objective

Looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong Salesforce expertise to support a data migration/integration initiative.

Project Description

Work on the integration and movement of data from Salesforce to Databricks.

Understand Salesforce data structures, objects, relationships, and business processes to ensure accurate data extraction and transformation.

Design and implement data pipelines/ETL or ELT processes to move Salesforce data into the Databricks environment.

Perform data cleansing, transformation, validation, and optimization within Databricks.

Develop and maintain data models in Databricks based on business and reporting requirements.

Work with structured and semi-structured Salesforce data and transform it into formats suitable for analytics and downstream consumption.

Collaborate with Salesforce, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, and Analytics teams to understand data requirements and integration needs.

Identify data quality issues,



inconsistencies, and gaps between Salesforce source data and Databricks target data.

Develop appropriate data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

Desired Profile

8+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, or related roles.

Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce, including Salesforce data models, objects, relationships, and data extraction.

Good understanding of Salesforce integrations and APIs such as REST/SOAP APIs or other Salesforce data integration mechanisms.

Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.

Experience developing data pipelines and working with ETL/ELT processes.

Robust knowledge of data modeling, including dimensional modeling and designing data structures for analytics.
