We are looking for a Sales Executive to generate new business, develop customer relationships, promote our food and bakery products, and achieve monthly sales targets. The candidate will be responsible for both B2B and B2C sales, depending on business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach new customers and business opportunities.
- Present and promote company products to prospective customers.
- Maintain solid relationships with existing customers.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations and pending orders.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare daily sales and customer-visit reports.
- Coordinate with the purchase, warehouse, billing and dispatch teams for order fulfilment.
- Collect customer feedback and communicate it to management.
- Monitor competitor pricing, products and market activities.
- Ensure timely payment follow-up and collection from customers.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and introduce new products.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
Requirements
- Any Degree / Diploma.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop new customers through field sales.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, WhatsApp and CRM/sales applications.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel within Chennai.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
