Resident Sales Engineer – Chennai

Company : PROCON Systems & Solutions

Location: Chennai

Experience: 2–5 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical, Instrumentation, Electrical or related field.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new customers and business opportunities in Southern India.
- Generate leads,



conduct customer visits, and achieve sales targets.
- Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Prepare quotations, conduct product presentations/demonstrations, and negotiate orders.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and payments.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and monitor competitor activities.
- Coordinate with technical, service, and internal teams for smooth order execution.

Preferred Profile

- 2–5 years of experience in B2B industrial/technical sales.
- Experience in industrial testing, measuring instruments, laboratory equipment, or engineering products preferred.
- Positive communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Willingness to travel within Chennai & Tamil Nadu.
- Local, English & Hindi languages and existing industrial customer contacts will be an advantage.
