About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and ambitious Sales Associate Interns to join our upGrad Study Abroad team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are passionate about sales, enjoy interacting with people, and are looking to build a long-term career in Sales & Education Consulting.
As a Sales Associate Intern, you will interact with students and prospective learners, understand their career and study-abroad aspirations, and assist them in exploring the right programs and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with prospective students through calls and other communication channels.
- Understand students' career goals, academic background, and study-abroad aspirations.
- Explain relevant upGrad Study Abroad programs and guide students through the initial counselling journey.
- Qualify leads and identify genuine student requirements.
- Maintain accurate student information and follow-ups in the CRM.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students to drive engagement.
- Coordinate with the counselling and admissions teams to ensure a smooth student journey.
- Achieve assigned daily/weekly activity and performance targets.
- Continuously learn about study-abroad programs, universities, and the education industry.

- Comfortable speaking with students and parents over the phone.
- Willingness to work in a target-driven sales workplace.

- Should be comfortable working 6 days a week from the office.
- Most importantly, someone who is serious about building a career in Sales and is willing to take up a full-time job opportunity after the internship.
