The Bengal Dialogue is looking for a small team of Sale & Marketing Interns to help build one of Bengal’s most important emerging platforms for ideas, enterprise, culture and economic renewal.

Internship period: 7 September 2026 to 5 January 2027

Location: Kolkata, with a mix of in office and remote work

Nature: Unpaid, experience-led internship. A limited stipend or performance-linked incentive may be considered for exceptional contribution and results.

What you will do:

•⁠ ⁠Present The Bengal Dialogue to prospective sponsors, partners and participating organisations

•⁠ ⁠Conduct inside-sales calls and reach out to qualified prospects

•⁠ ⁠Explain sponsorship, advertising, stall and partnership opportunities

•⁠ ⁠Follow up consistently through telephone, email, WhatsApp and meetings

•⁠ ⁠Maintain prospect records and update the sales pipeline

•⁠ ⁠Support proposal preparation, presentations and sponsor communication

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate with confirmed sponsors and partners

•⁠ ⁠Assist with marketing campaigns, institutional outreach and administrative work

•⁠ ⁠Help take opportunities from the first conversation to successful closure

•⁠ ⁠Support the team during the final preparation and event period

Who should apply

•⁠ ⁠MBA or management students from Kolkata-based universities and business schools

•⁠ ⁠Students from institutions such as Presidency University, St. Xavier’s College and other reputed colleges

•⁠ ⁠Graduates awaiting employment who want serious, practical experience

•⁠ ⁠People who are confident, articulate, persuasive and comfortable speaking with senior professionals





•⁠ ⁠Self-driven individuals who can follow up without constant supervision

•⁠ ⁠Candidates interested in sales, marketing, business development, events, public affairs or partnerships

•⁠ ⁠Strong English and Bengali communication skills will be an advantage
