Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer with 2–5 years of experience in the HVAC/MEP industry. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures at project sites, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and promoting a safe working environment for employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor health, safety and environmental (HSE) procedures at HVAC project sites.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable statutory requirements.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks, Safety Inductions, and Daily Safety Briefings.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, checklists, inspection reports, and incident reports.
- Monitor PPE compliance and ensure workers use appropriate safety equipment.
- Conduct risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for HVAC activities.
- Monitor safety during HVAC installation, ducting, piping, equipment installation, testing and commissioning.
- Ensure safe working practices for work at height, hot work, electrical work, lifting activities, scaffolding, and confined spaces.
- Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, subcontractors,



and client safety teams.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper work permits are obtained before carrying out high-risk activities.
- Maintain emergency preparedness and conduct safety drills when required.
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions identified during safety inspections.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports for management.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of HVAC/MEP site safety practices.
- Knowledge of PPE, PTW, JSA, Risk Assessment, Toolbox Talks, and HSE procedures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to identify hazards and take preventive action.
- Valuable documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently at project sites.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, especially Word and Excel.

Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in Safety, Fire & Safety, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant safety certification such as NEBOSH / IOSH / Safety Diploma will be an added advantage.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in HVAC / MEP / Construction projects, preferably with hands-on site safety experience.

Pay: ₹12,198.47 - ₹44,377.04 per month
