- Manage day-to-day Fire &
- Safety operations at a corporate facility.
- Ensure compliance with applicable fire, occupational health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Handle safety activities related to building infrastructure, project management, office repair, and maintenance.
- Inspect and monitor fire safety equipment and emergency preparedness systems.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, audits, and emergency preparedness checks.
- Manage contractor and vendor safety requirements.
- Develop and implement project-specific Safety Plans, HIRA, and JSA.
- Support emergency drills, evacuation procedures, and fire response preparedness.
- Contribute to developing and maintaining a strong safety culture across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, hose reels, fire alarms, emergency exits, and other Fire &
- Safety equipment.
- Ensure fire and safety equipment is properly maintained, tested, and available for use.
- Conduct regular fire safety inspections and safety audits.
- Perform emergency preparedness checks and coordinate emergency drills.
- Develop and implement project-specific Safety Plans, HIRA, and JSA.
- Conduct risk assessments and site inspections for project, repair, and maintenance activities.
- Review and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
- Ensure work is executed safely and according to approved permits.
- Monitor proper PPE implementation by employees, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct Tool Box Talks (TBT) and safety awareness and training programs.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders on safety requirements.
- Identify unsafe acts,
unsafe conditions, and near misses.
- Ensure timely closure of identified safety observations.
- Investigate incidents and prepare RCA, Corrective Action, and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports.
- Monitor and report safety performance metrics.
- Support implementation of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, fire, and occupational safety regulations.
- Support evacuation procedures and fire response activities.
- Independently handle safety inspections and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the facility.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management or Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety / equivalent qualification.
- Experience: 4–8 years of relevant experience in Fire &
- Safety / EHS.
- Strong practical knowledge of Fire &
- Safety equipment and systems.
- Experience in corporate facilities, building infrastructure, projects, or facility management is preferred.
- Positive knowledge of HIRA, JSA, PTW, TBT, PPE, and safety audits.
- Knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 is an advantage.
- Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently conduct safety inspections.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors and vendors.
- Gender: Male preferred.
