R2R (Record to Report) Specialist

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced R2R (Record to Report) professional to manage end-to-end accounting and reporting activities. The role will be responsible for maintaining the General Ledger, performing account reconciliations, processing journal entries, supporting month-end and year-end closing, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day Record to Report (R2R) activities and General Ledger operations.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, reclassifications, and adjustments.
- Perform Balance Sheet and General Ledger reconciliations.
- Handle Intercompany accounting and reconciliation activities.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.
- Review and validate accounting entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies.
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in General Ledger accounts.




- Support preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Perform fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and related reconciliations, where applicable.
- Ensure timely completion of R2R activities within defined SLAs and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, FP&A;, Tax, Treasury, and other finance teams.
- Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
- Identify process gaps and support process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of R2R / General Ledger accounting.
- Good understanding of journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
- Experience in Intercompany accounting and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Good understanding of Balance Sheet and P&L; accounting.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
