Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced RuleStream Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in RuleStream, VB.NET, and SQL. The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and supporting rule-based applications and solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong programming and database skills, experience in analyzing business requirements, and the ability to work effectively with technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, configure, customize, and maintain applications using RuleStream.
- Design and implement business rules based on functional and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain VB.NET components, scripts, and integrations.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Analyze existing rules and application logic and provide enhancements or fixes.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing,



and deployment activities.
- Identify and resolve production issues within defined SLAs.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to rules, applications, and database changes.
- Follow coding, development, testing, and deployment standards.

Required Skills
- 4+ years of professional IT experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with RuleStream / Rule Stream.
- Good development experience in VB.NET.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and SQL programming.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Good understanding of application development and debugging.
- Experience with integration/API concepts is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Good to Have
- Experience working on enterprise rule-based applications.
- Knowledge of .NET Framework / related Microsoft technologies.
- Experience with application support and production issue resolution.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with version control and CI/CD processes.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
