- Monitor MCX client positions, margin and risk exposure on a real-time basis.
- Monitor Initial Margin, Exposure Margin, MTM and available margin.
- Ensure clients maintain sufficient margin against open commodity positions.
- Monitor intraday and overnight positions and identify high-risk accounts.
- Take necessary action on margin shortfall as per company RMS policy.
- Coordinate with clients and dealers for margin calls and position square-off.
- Monitor client-wise trading limits and exposure limits.
- Monitor MCX commodity contracts, expiry dates and open positions.
- Track MTM losses, margin utilization and collateral availability.
- Coordinate with the Dealing, Operations, Accounts and Compliance teams.
- Prepare daily RMS/MIS reports related to MCX trading.
- Escalate accounts having excessive exposure or insufficient margins to the reporting manager.
- Ensure RMS activities are carried out as per MCX, SEBI and company guidelines.
- Maintain records of margin calls, RMS actions and client communications.
Required Skills
- Positive knowledge of MCX and commodity derivatives
- Understanding of Margin, MTM, Exposure and SPAN-related concepts
- Knowledge of commodity contracts and expiry
- Good MS Excel and MIS skills
- Quick decision-making and risk-monitoring ability
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment
Experience: 1–3 years in MCX RMS / Commodity Broking / Risk Management / Trading Operations preferred.
