Role & responsibilities
As an RF Engineer at VVDN, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and optimization of radio frequency (RF) circuits and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of RF components into various products, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- RF Circuit Design: Design RF circuits, including amplifiers, filters, oscillators, and matching networks, using simulation tools and analysis techniques.
- RF System Integration: Integrate RF components into larger system architectures, collaborating with hardware, software, and firmware teams to meet overall product requirements.
- Testing and Validation: Develop test plans and procedures for RF performance evaluation, conduct testing, analyze results, and troubleshoot issues to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- RF Performance Optimization: Optimize RF performance parameters such as gain, noise figure, linearity,
and power efficiency through design iterations and experimentation.
- EMI/EMC Compliance: Ensure RF circuits and systems comply with electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards through design techniques and testing methodologies.
- Documentation: Prepare design documentation, including schematics, layouts, Bill of Materials (BOM), test reports, and compliance records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, firmware, and manufacturing, to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality products on schedule.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest advancements in RF technology, industry trends, and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to enhance product designs and development processes.
