Restaurant Manager / Junior Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager / Junior Operations Manager to oversee the complete day-to-day operations of the restaurant/floor. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent guest relations, and the ability to coordinate effectively with Kitchen, Banquets, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and other departments.

The candidate should be customer-focused, operationally strong, and capable of leading the team while ensuring high standards of service, hygiene, discipline, and guest satisfaction.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Oversee the complete restaurant/floor operations and ensure smooth functioning of the outlet during all shifts.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the F&B; service team to deliver consistent and high-quality guest service.
- Manage staff deployment, duty allocation, shift planning, and daily operational requirements.
- Maintain strong guest relations and ensure an exceptional experience for club members and guests.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, special requests, and service recovery effectively.
- Coordinate closely with the Kitchen and Chefs to ensure timely food preparation, order accuracy, food quality, and smooth service.
- Coordinate with the Banqueting team for events, functions, special requirements, and operational arrangements.
- Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team for promotions, events, member activities, and other business initiatives.
- Coordinate with the Finance team regarding billing, payments, discounts, revenue reporting, and financial controls.
- Monitor daily sales, covers, average spend, wastage, and other relevant operational performance indicators.
- Ensure accurate billing and adherence to approved discount and payment procedures.
- Conduct regular floor inspections to ensure cleanliness, ambience, table setup, grooming, and service readiness.




- Ensure compliance with SOPs, food safety, hygiene, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Train, coach, and develop team members to improve service standards and operational performance.
- Monitor employee attendance, grooming, punctuality, discipline, and overall performance.
- Address operational challenges promptly and escalate critical matters to the F&B;/Club Manager.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Purchase, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed.
- Prepare and submit daily operational reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Support the planning and execution of club events, VIP visits, special functions, and high-volume operations.
- Ensure effective coordination between the Front of House and Back of House teams.
- Take ownership of floor-level operations and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
- Contribute to improving guest satisfaction, team productivity, revenue, and overall outlet performance.

Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of experience in F&B; operations, preferably with managerial/supervisory experience and career progression from F&B; Executive/Service Associate to Floor Manager or equivalent.
- Experience in a premium restaurant, hotel, club, or hospitality environment will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant and F&B; service operations.
- Strong guest relations and customer service skills are mandatory.
- Excellent leadership and team-handling abilities.
- Robust command of written, spoken, and reading English.
- Good communication skills in Hindi and Kannada are mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage high-volume operations.
- Professional grooming and a customer-focused approach.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
