About the Role

This is a full-time permanent role for an Editor. Were looking for a detail-oriented Editor to lead content planning, curation, and editing for our monthly magazine. The Editor will be responsible for analysing current events, conductingin-depth research, editing articles, proofreading articles, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of the content. This role requires strong editorial knowledge and a passion for international affairs.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Write and develop well-researched, knowledge-driven articles for the publication.
2. Coordinate with writers to ensure accurate, high-quality, and compelling content.
3. Collaborate effectively with writers, designers, and senior editors to support smooth editorial production.
4. Review, edit, and refine submitted manuscripts to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to editorial standards.
5. Ensure all articles and layouts meet the highest standards of quality, relevance, and brand consistency.
6. Work closely with external contributors, subject experts, and partner organisations to source and finalise editorial content.

Prepare and maintain reports on publication performance, content evaluation, and editorial progress.
8. Develop interview questionnaires and conduct/support face-to-face interviews with diplomats, ministers, corporate leaders, and other high-profile individuals.

6. Masters/Phd degree in Political Science, International Relations, Economics, or a related field.
7. Demonstrated interest in global affairs, diplomacy, and international policy.
8. Solid understanding of publishing processes and willingness to stay updated with emerging trends in the media industry.
