Role Description This is a full time, on-site Relationship Officer / Relationship Manager role based in Jaunpur. The role involves building and managing relationships with existing and prospective customers to promote Aavas’ housing finance products and services.

Responsibilities include identifying customer needs, explaining loan offerings and eligibility, supporting clients through documentation and application processes, and ensuring timely follow-up and closure of leads. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams for credit evaluation, underwriting, and disbursement,



while maintaining accurate records of interactions and transactions.

Officer / Relationship Manager is expected to achieve sales and portfolio quality targets, provide high-quality customer service, and represent Aavas’ values and commitment to financial inclusion in the local market.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Business Relationship Management skills, with the ability to build, maintain, and grow long-term customer and partner relationships.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge, including basic understanding of lending, housing finance products, and credit assessment.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening abilities.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and customer satisfaction.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills, including lead generation, conversion, negotiation, and achievement of revenue and portfolio targets.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related discipline are beneficial.
- Experience in housing finance, NBFCs, banking, or financial services, especially in rural or semi-urban markets, is an advantage.
- Proficiency in local language(s), familiarity with the Jaunpur market, and willingness to travel locally for customer visits are preferred.
