Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Gynecology Ward. The candidate will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to gynecological patients, assisting doctors during procedures, monitoring patients' conditions, administering medications, and maintaining accurate nursing records.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted in the Gynecology Ward.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patients' clinical condition.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and minor interventions.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
- Monitor patients following gynecological surgeries and procedures.
- Assist in the care of post-delivery and gynecological patients as assigned.
- Maintain proper nursing documentation, patient charts, medication records, and handover reports.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control practices.
- Follow hospital policies, nursing protocols, SOPs, and NABH standards.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding medications, procedures, diet,



hygiene, and discharge instructions.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate changes in patient condition to the concerned doctor/senior nurse.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper utilization of ward equipment.
- Coordinate effectively with doctors, nursing supervisors, and other departments.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.

Eligibility & Skills
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in a Gynecology/Obstetrics Ward.
- Valid nursing registration with the respective State Nursing Council.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in shifts.
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
