Qualification
- Master’s Degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognised University/Institution.
- Ph.D. or relevant qualified qualification will be desirable.
- Qualification should be as per applicable UGC regulations, University Statutes, and institutional norms.

1. University Administration &
- Governance
- Implement and monitor decisions of the Board of Governors, Academic Council, and other statutory/competent authorities.
- Advise the Vice Chancellor and senior management on administrative and governance matters.
1. Statutory &
- Committee Management
- Coordinate meetings of statutory and other University bodies, including preparation of agendas, notices, minutes, and action-taken reports.
- Ensure timely implementation and documentation of decisions and resolutions.
- Maintain official records of statutory meetings and proceedings.
1. Academic Administration
- Oversee academic administrative processes in coordination with Deans, Heads of Departments, Examination and Academic Offices.
- Ensure implementation of approved academic policies, ordinances, regulations, and procedures.
- Facilitate smooth administration of student records, academic documentation, degrees, certificates, and related matters.
1. Regulatory &
- Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable UGC, AICTE, NAAC, NIRF, AISHE, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate timely preparation and submission of statutory returns, reports, and institutional data.
- Monitor regulatory changes and facilitate necessary action.
1. Records &
- Documentation
- Ensure proper maintenance, confidentiality, accuracy, and accessibility of University records.
- Oversee systematic documentation and digitisation of statutory, academic, and administrative records.
- Ensure timely retrieval and submission of records for audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
1. Policy, Rules &
- Ordinances
- Coordinate the development, review, and implementation of University policies, rules, ordinances, and regulations.
- Ensure institutional processes remain aligned with approved policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Provide administrative inputs for policy decisions and institutional improvements.
1. Legal &
- Compliance Coordination
- Coordinate with the Legal Department/Counsel on legal notices, cases, agreements, and other University matters.
- Ensure timely submission of required documents and responses to legal and statutory authorities.
- Monitor compliance with legal directions and applicable statutory requirements.
1. Student Administration
- Oversee administrative processes related to student registration, records, certificates, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
- Ensure student-related processes are implemented as per approved University policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with concerned departments for timely resolution of student administrative matters.
1. Accreditation &
- Institutional Data
- Coordinate institutional data and documentation required for NAAC, NIRF, AISHE, UGC, AICTE, and other regulatory submissions.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of institutional information.
- Coordinate preparations for accreditation visits, inspections, audits, and reviews.
1. External Coordination &
- Communication
- Coordinate with government departments, regulatory bodies, accreditation agencies, and other external stakeholders.
- Manage official University correspondence and communication as authorised.
- Represent the University in official meetings, inspections, and institutional engagements as delegated.
1. Leadership &
- Process Improvement
- Provide administrative leadership and ensure efficient functioning of the Registrar’s Office.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardisation, digitalisation, and administrative efficiency.
- Guide and mentor administrative teams to ensure accountability and quality of service.
