Regional Leader Operation – South & West

Job Purpose

**The Regional Operations Leader is responsible for driving the operational excellence across multiple projects within the region and act as a part of the extended leadership team. The role requires to ensure the alignment between business objectives and service delivery by overseeing operational performance, customer relationship, profitability, governance, safety and growth initiatives. The regional Operations Leader is accountable for maximizing business performance through effective execution, Innovation, and implementation of transformation programs.

Job Responsibilities

- P&L; management of Plant O&M; and Network Projects across South and West India, including Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and other assigned regions.
- Provide overall operational oversight to ensure efficient execution of projects and service delivery.
- Implementation of BU Safety initiatives across the Plants and WS Projects.
- Review and monitor operational budgets, forecasts, and financial performance and ensure effective financial management of the projects & Plants.
- Conduct periodic project reviews, track all KPI’s and present business updates to senior management.
- Lead the project control activities through planning reviews, periodic project reviews, and proactive risk and opportunity management.
- Manage contracts, including claims management, variation orders, and subcontractor performance management.
- Manage Tendering & contract renewals related to O&M; of plants and water distribution projects.
- Stakeholder Management- Public water boards officials, Pollution control boards and the end users.
- Initiate and drive service improvement programs focused on operational efficiency and customer value.
- Lead implementation and governance of transformation initiatives, including MIP – Margin improvement plan





Profile, experience and skillset required

- Master’s /Batchelor’s degree in engineering

- Maximum age limit 50yrs
- 20 to 25 years of professional experience in Water/Wastewater sector
- Experience in leading Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) contracts for Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs), and related water infrastructure projects.
- Experience in the construction, commissioning and O&M; of 24x7 Water Supply Distribution Contracts
- Sound knowledge of asset management, preventive maintenance, reliability improvement, and operational best practices.
- Exceptional leadership skills including negotiation and influencing and sound understanding of Digitalisation.**
