Job Summary

General description of role: As a Compensation Specialist, you will use strong organizational, analytical, team-oriented and problem-solving skills to provide high-quality outcomes for the People Organization, the business and other stakeholders relating to compensation. With a focus on operational, analytical, regulatory and administrative work, you will deliver day-to-day, cyclical, regulatory, and project-based compensation activity accurately, consistently, and on time.

Job Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate tasks, documentation, trackers, approvals, and stakeholder follow-ups for assigned compensation activities across the compensation remit.

- Audit, prepare, validate and reconcile compensation data, templates, reports, and system inputs.

- Use data management, analytical, and problem-solving skills to deliver annual compensation planning and execution, as well as other cyclical processes through data preparation, testing, tracking, reporting, and issue resolution.

- Respond to compensation queries from a variety of stakeholders and use sound judgement to provide practical guidance.

- Monitor completion of actions and escalate risks, exceptions, data concerns, and policy-sensitive matters to the appropriate Compensation lead.

- Provide flexible support for projects, regulatory requirements, audits, and emerging operational priorities.

- Coordinate and execute the administration of salary changes, promotions, incentive awards, and other compensation actions, as assigned.

- Coordinate regional compensation programmes and recurring activities, maintaining accurate records, process documentation, and audit trails.

- Analyse and interpret compensation data to identify trends, anomalies, incomplete actions, or potential data-quality issues and deliver preliminary recommendations.

- Conduct periodic audits and reconciliations of colleague, plan, budget, and compensation data,



coordinating agreed remediation actions.

- Play a key role in supporting the annual compensation cycle, with a focus on data validation, communication materials, testing, reconciliation, reporting, query resolution and follow-up.

- Manage, track and process various compensation element commitments and corresponding budget; ensure key stakeholders are informed of budget trending on a periodic basis.

- Execute compensation program review process, including refreshing templates, gathering relevant data, analyzing data, developing synthesized presentation materials and coordinating inputs from key stakeholders.

- Assist with regulatory and statutory activity, such as minimum or living wage reviews, pay-related reporting, data requests, and implementation tracking, under the direction of the regional Compensation team.

- Undertake job matching, data extraction, file preparation, validation, and coordination with country teams or the global survey lead, as required to deliver salary survey participation for the region.

- Coordinate with People Partners, HR Operations, Payroll, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and other stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely implementation.

- Maintain regional compensation guidance, templates, trackers, shared sites, and other operational materials so that information remains current and accessible.

- Prepare structured data, summaries, and supporting documentation for audits, governance reviews, leadership requests, or regional projects.

- Provide additional operational, analytical, reporting,



and administrative support to the aligned regional Compensation team as business priorities require.

- Identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures to improve efficiency.

Skills / Competencies

- Relevant experience in compensation, rewards, HR operations, people analytics, or a similarly data-focused HR environment; regional experience is preferred.

- Working knowledge of compensation principles and processes, such as salary administration, salary structures, job evaluation, market data, incentives, pay equity, or compliance.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple recurring activities, deadlines, and stakeholder follow-ups.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience collecting, validating, reconciling, and interpreting data to design solutions.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling confidential colleague and compensation information.

- Clear and collaborative communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Compensation colleagues, People Partners, and other internal stakeholders.

- Demonstrates sound judgment by independently resolving routine compensation and HR inquiries, while appropriately escalating complex, high-risk, or policy exception cases, with minimal rework or corrective intervention required.

- A proactive self-starter who takes accountability for outcomes, seeks solutions, and actively contributes to team and business objectives.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data validation, and reporting.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

- 3+ years of relevant experience.
