- Reports to: Provide support or handle independently recruitment tasks
- Functional (cooperation, horizontal): internally with all teams and departments’ heads; externally with CMA Ships Singapore and third parties as required
1. Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Recruitment
- Support Recruitment Manager with the daily tasks.
- Handle job advertisements.
- Review application forms.
- Manage applicants’ records.
- Check whether candidates meet the Company’s criteria.
- Verify candidates’ certificates / documentations.
- Plan and arrange interviews.
- Update records in crew management system STouch.
- Ensure all seafarers comply with company specific trainings
- Co-ordinate trainings locally.
- Assist with briefings.
- Assist with mobilization and de-mobilization of seafarers for training including booking of flight tickets, accommodation arrangements or handling visas applications.
- Assist with verification that new recruited seafarers hold all required certificate / document prior departing from place of repatriation.
- Arrange new recruits medical.
- Handle crew incidental expenses pertaining to training(if required).
1. Communication and Coordination:
- Maintain proper communication with seafarers, CMA Ships Singapore and all concerned parties.
- Keep the Recruitment Manager updated about exceptional or significant cases.
1. Reporting and Compliance:
- Ensure that seafarers meet industrial standard and Company’s criteria.
- Comply with the Internal Regulations.
Performance indicators:
- Data quality recorded in crewing software by planning team
Performance Evaluation:
- Annually / Biannually
1. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education Level:
- Higher education, preferably in merchant marine university
Job Skills:
- Proactiveness

- Good understanding of STCW requirements and MLC 2006
Required Work Experience:
- Previous role in a manning agency, shore HR or training dept
- High proficiency in seafarers documentation
