Role & responsibilities

Seeking a Quality Manager to oversee the Quality Management System (QMS), drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards. The candidate will lead process quality, supplier audits, CAPA, and customer defect resolution for precision component manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain QMS standards (IATF 16949, ISO) and lead internal/external audits.
- Oversee APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA across machining, CNC, and assembly lines.
- Drive CAPA, 8D problem-solving, and root-cause analysis for customer complaints to reduce internal PPM, scrap, and rework.
- Audit, qualify, and manage supplier performance for raw materials and outsourced processes.
- Lead, train, and mentor the quality engineering and inspection teams.




- Monitor key metrics: zero-defect delivery, customer complaint reduction, and process capabilities

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- Core Expertise: Hands-on experience in automotive precision machining, CNC processes, and OEM/Tier-1 compliance.
- Tools & Standards: Deep knowledge of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA), 8D reporting, and statistical software (Minitab).
- Certifications (Preferred): Six Sigma Black Belt, CQE, or ISO Lead Auditor
