Job Role

- Quality Engineer / Process Quality Engineer

- Follow mould start-up procedures and verify MTC, Hopper Dryer, Cooling Line, PCS, Raw Material, Dozer Settings, and other process parameters.
- Ensure availability of limit samples and previous-run reference samples at the machine.
- Maintain and verify all FML documents and samples at designated locations.
- Update and maintain FML reports and sample inspection records as per standards every 2 hours.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific packing requirements and quality standards.
- Monitor rejected parts movement to the grinding area and verify rejection quantities.
- Manage hold quantities and ensure clearance within 24 hours.
- Verify secondary operations, including:

- Outer Tub Welding

- Leakage Testing

- DD Assembly
- Maintain shift-wise communication logs and provide regular updates to the Quality Head.
- Conduct Process Capability Studies and process/product audits.
- Implement customer complaint action plans on the shop floor.
- Maintain 5S standards and ensure proper management of quarantine areas.
- Record 4M changes and process abnormalities in logbooks.




- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and customer-specific quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities Process & Quality Control:

- Monitor mould start-up and production processes to ensure compliance with defined standards.
- Verify raw materials, machine settings, samples, and process parameters before production.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintain accurate quality records.
- Monitor rejection, hold, and clearance activities to minimize quality losses.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain FML documents, inspection records, reports, samples, and shift-wise communication logs.
- Record process abnormalities and 4M changes accurately.
- Provide timely quality updates and reports to the Quality Head.

Audit & Compliance

- Conduct process capability studies and process/product audits.
- Ensure adherence to IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Implement customer-specific requirements and complaint action plans.
- Maintain 5S and quarantine-area standards on the shop floor.
