Role Description This is a full time, on-site Quantity Surveyor (Civil Industry) role based in Hyderabad.
The Quantity
Surveyor will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), estimating costs for civil projects, and supporting tender preparation and evaluation. The role involves monitoring project budgets, tracking expenditures, and implementing cost control measures to ensure projects remain financially viable.
The Quantity
Surveyor will assist in cost planning from inception to completion, prepare cost reports, and liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve commercial and contractual issues. The position requires regular site visits, verification of work done, and updating documentation to support accurate cost management.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management to monitor budgets and optimize project expenditures.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs for civil construction projects.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting for different project stages, including pre-contract and post-contract phases.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software or costing tools.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects or tasks.
- Prior experience in civil construction, infrastructure, or related industry is preferred.
