Role Description The Quality Control Inspector is a full time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This position is responsible for inspecting manufactured oilfield tools and components, verifying that they meet defined quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include performing dimensional checks and visual inspections, documenting inspection results, and reporting non-conformities to production and quality teams.
The role involves collaborating with engineering and manufacturing staff to resolve quality issues,
supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring that quality control procedures are consistently followed. The inspector also helps maintain inspection records, calibrates measuring instruments as needed, and contributes to safe and efficient operations on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Inspection, including the ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools and gauges.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, with experience implementing or following standard operating procedures and quality systems.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear reporting of inspection findings and constructive collaboration with production and engineering teams.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering environments, preferably in oilfield equipment or heavy industry.
- Familiarity with ISO or similar quality standards and basic understanding of safety and compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
