Role Description The Quality Assurance Executive – Construction Chemical is a full-time, in office role based in Samba. The individual will be responsible for monitoring and controlling product quality for construction chemicals and bituminous products, including sampling, testing, and documentation as per relevant standards. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with production teams, implementing quality procedures, inspecting raw materials and finished goods, and maintaining records for audits and regulatory compliance.

The role involves investigating non-conformities, recommending corrective actions, supporting process improvements, and collaborating with R&D; and technical teams to ensure consistent product performance.



The executive will also assist in customer complaint analysis, preparation of test reports, and adherence to safety and environmental guidelines within the plant.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of construction chemicals, bituminous products, waterproofing systems, and concrete admixtures, curing compound with an understanding of their applications in infrastructure projects.
- Experience with quality control and assurance processes, including sampling, laboratory testing, inspection procedures, and adherence to national and international standards.
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation, quality records, test reports, and support internal and external audits.
- Familiarity with production processes in chemical or construction materials manufacturing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and focus on continuous improvement.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with production, R&D;, and clients, and for handling quality-related queries and complaints.
- Comfort with using basic computer tools and quality-related software; knowledge of safety, health, and environmental practices in manufacturing is an advantage.
- Prior experience in quality assurance or quality control in construction chemicals or related industries is preferred.
