- Support FSSC 22000, BRCGS and food safety certification preparations.
- Conduct in-process and finished-product quality inspections.
- Monitor and document GMP, HACCP, CCPs and CQPs.
- Maintain quality records, batch documentation and audit-ready reports.
- Handle sampling, testing, traceability, allergen and label checks.
- Identify quality deviations and support RCA and corrective actions.
- Assist with internal/third-party audits and equipment calibration.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and SOP standards.
Preferred candidate profile
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Tech.
- 13 years of experience in a quality assurance, food safety, or food/beverage manufacturing workplace; internships or co-ops in food science or QA are a plus.
- Basic understanding of GMP, HACCP,
and food safety principles (or willingness to be trained and certified).
- Comfortable working in a plant environment, including exposure to varying temperatures (e.g., refrigerated or freezer areas), noise, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and documentation.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office/Excel) for logging data and generating reports.
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including weekends, holidays, or overtime as production needs require.
