About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Quality Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products/processes by identifying issues, executing quality checks, documenting defects, and working closely with development and business teams.

This position is suitable for freshers as well as candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience who have a strong interest in quality assurance and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
- Reproduce reported issues and provide clear steps, screenshots, logs, and other relevant information.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
- Maintain accurate test documentation and quality reports.
- Support release validation and production verification activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and overall product quality.
- Follow defined QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Required SkillsFor Freshers
- Basic understanding of Software Testing / Quality Assurance concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Understanding of test cases, test scenarios, defect life cycle,



and bug reporting.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/database concepts is an advantage.

For Candidates with 1–3 Years Experience
- Hands-on experience in manual testing and defect management.
- Experience with tools such as Jira or similar tools.
- Understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience in regression, integration, functional, and exploratory testing.
- Basic understanding of automation testing is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certification such as ISTQB is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Candidates with strong testing fundamentals and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
