We are looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software. The role focuses on test design, test execution, and defect management to ensure reliable product releases. Experience or interest in test automation is a strong plus.

Responsibilities
- Product architecture grasping
- Understand product requirements and create test scenarios and test cases (technical + non technical example).
- Execute functional, regression, and integration tests.
- Identify, log, and track defects through resolution and understands Priority vs Severity.
- Ensure adequate test coverage across releases.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to drive test scenarios, defect fixing and defect reproduction.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and reviews.
- Contribute to automation initiatives where possible.
- Maintain clear test documentation and execution reports.
- Contribute to performance and scalability testing (good to have).
- Work in an Agile setting, participating in sprint planning and continuous integration cycles.
Requirements
- 2-12 years of experience in software testing / QA.
- Strong skills in test case design and manual testing.
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, CDETS etc.).
- Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and testing techniques.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with test automation tools (pytest).
- Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Python, Unix).
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured).
- Familiarity with Agile development environments.
Education
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering , or related field.
