Skills First is looking for an experienced and passionate Python Trainer to join our training team and deliver industry-oriented Python programming education with practical exposure to Data and Generative AI applications.

Role: Python Trainer – Data & AIKey Responsibilities

- Deliver structured and engaging Python training from fundamentals to advanced concepts.
- Design and deliver practical, hands-on sessions focused on real-world programming and problem-solving.
- Cover Python programming concepts including data types, control flow, functions, collections, exception handling, file handling, modules, packages and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Train students on advanced and practical Python concepts including APIs, JSON, regular expressions, debugging and code structuring.
- Introduce students to Python's applications in Data Analytics and Data Science using libraries such as NumPy, Pandas and Matplotlib.
- Provide practical exposure to Generative AI and demonstrate how Python integrates with LLM APIs and AI-powered applications.
- Guide students through coding exercises, assignments, mini-projects and real-world use cases.
- Mentor students in writing clean, reusable and maintainable Python code.
- Support students in building project portfolios and maintaining their work on GitHub.
- Evaluate student progress through assignments, coding assessments and project reviews.
- Identify learning gaps and provide individual guidance and feedback.
- Stay updated with current Python, Data and Generative AI tools, libraries and industry practices.





Eligibility & Requirements
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python programming.
- Excellent understanding of Python fundamentals, advanced concepts and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Practical experience with NumPy, Pandas and Matplotlib.
- Good understanding of APIs, JSON and Git/GitHub.
- Working knowledge of Python-based data processing and analysis.
- Understanding of Generative AI concepts and LLM APIs.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to students from beginner to intermediate/advanced levels.
- Robust communication, presentation and mentoring skills.
- Ability to develop practical coding exercises, projects and assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience as a Python Trainer, Technical Trainer, Mentor or Software Developer.
- Industry experience in Python development, Data Analytics, Data Science or AI/GenAI.
- Experience building Python-based projects or AI-powered applications.
- Familiarity with modern AI coding tools and developer workflows.
- Experience working with freshers, graduates or career-transition learners is an advantage.
