Role Description The Public Relations Account Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position is responsible for leading client accounts, developing comprehensive PR strategies, and managing day-to-day execution to meet client objectives.

Key tasks include planning and overseeing media outreach, drafting and reviewing press materials, supervising campaign timelines, and ensuring consistent, high-quality communication deliverables. The role also involves monitoring industry trends, identifying thought leadership opportunities, and ensuring alignment between client messaging and overall strategic communications plans.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Public Relations and Strategic Communications skills,



with experience developing and implementing integrated PR campaigns.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Media Relations and Press Releases, including building relationships with journalists and crafting compelling, accurate media content.
- Candidates should possess proven Account Management skills, with the ability to lead multiple client engagements, manage expectations, and deliver on agreed outcomes.
- Candidates should possess the ability to plan and execute communication programs that support business goals, including reputation management and brand positioning.
- Relevant experience in a PR agency or communications consultancy at an account director or senior manager level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation abilities, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; advanced education or certifications in PR are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
