What You'll Do In this role, you will work across the full propulsion system life cycle for Aule's satellite missions, from requirements definition through vendor coordination, co-engineering, integration, testing, and in-orbit support. You'll help connect our satellite engineering teams, propulsion vendors, and program stakeholders, working across subsystems to enable first-of-its-kind satellite servicing.

Responsibilities

- Derive propulsion requirements (ΔV, thrust, lifetime, redundancy, duty cycles) from mission needs, and contribute to candidate architectures that fit the technology roadmap and business strategy

- Track requirements, interfaces, performance budgets, and critical parameters across the project life cycle, and support technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders

- Work day-to-day with propulsion vendors through conceptual design and co-engineering; review their designs, analyses, qualification procedures, and acceptance data for compliance

- Support propulsion AIT at unit and spacecraft level, including integration procedures, safety and cleanliness controls, leak checks, and propellant handling

- Draft test plans, procedures, instrumentation schemes, and acceptance criteria

- Support launch campaigns: fueling readiness, subsystem checkout, and pre-launch verification

- Support in-orbit commissioning,

calibration burns, and maneuver planning; monitor telemetry, track propellant consumption, and contribute to anomaly resolution and long-term health assessment

What We Look For

Minimum Requirements

- B.Tech/B.E. in Aerospace, Physics, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline

- 1+ years in propulsion systems within aerospace, satellite manufacturing, or adjacent industries

- Strong foundation in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics

- Experience in the design and analysis of pressurized fluid systems

- Familiarity with propulsion-system cleanliness, contamination control, and safe fluid-handling practices

- Proficiency with CAD tools

- Strong written and interpersonal skills for cross-subsystem collaboration

- You thrive in fast-paced, agile environments, adapt quickly, and enjoy solving hard problems

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior hands-on experience supporting propulsion system test campaigns

- Familiarity with spacecraft AIV processes, safety compliance for pressure systems, and test methodologies

What We Offer

- Competitive compensation, including ESOPs

- Role-based workplace flexibility

- Annual vacations

- Professional mental wellness services

- Health insurance coverage

- Gym Membership
