Role Overview

We are seeking for Process Associate having 1-7 years of experience in P&C; Insurance, Broking Operations, and/or Employee Benefits processing. The role involves processing policy and benefit-related transactions, validating data and documentation, managing system setup and updates, ensuring compliance with SOPs and carrier/state guidelines, and meeting defined SLA and quality standards.

The ideal candidate should have solid attention to detail, analytical and reconciliation skills, good knowledge of insurance processes, and the ability to independently handle both standard and complex transactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Process standard and complex insurance transactions in accordance with established SOPs, workflows, and quality standards.
- Review requests, source documents, and supporting information for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Configure and maintain groups, benefit plans, classes, eligibility rules, rates, contributions, census, and enrollment-related setup for Employee Benefits processes.
- Process binders, policy issuance, premium endorsements, and complex policy servicing requests within defined SLAs.
- Validate documents and transaction details against underwriting approvals, policy requirements, carrier guidelines, and applicable state regulations.
- Update policy, benefits, agency management, and other relevant systems accurately and within required timelines.
- Validate source information, identify missing, inconsistent,



or incorrect data, and document IGO/NIGO exceptions and other discrepancies.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, quality checks, and self-review before submitting transactions for quality review.
- Complete setup and processing checklists and maintain accurate documentation and audit trails.
- Communicate with brokers, underwriters, client teams, and internal stakeholders to obtain missing information and resolve discrepancies.
- Escalate complex issues, exceptions, and compliance concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure the confidentiality and security of employee, employer, client, and policy information.
- Ensure transactions comply with organizational policies, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and carrier/state guidelines.
- Meet defined SLA, productivity, accuracy, and quality targets consistently.
- Independently manage exceptions and complex transactions while supporting junior analysts when required.
- Contribute to process improvements and assist in reviewing or updating SOPs, checklists, and process documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1-7 years of experience in P&C; Insurance, Broking Operations, Employee Benefits processing, or a related insurance operations environment.
- Basic to strong understanding of the P&C;/Broking lifecycle, including binders, policy issuance, endorsements, premium processing, and policy servicing.
- Basic knowledge of US Employee Perks products and terminology, including benefit plans, eligibility, classes, rates, contributions,



census, and enrollment.
- Good understanding of insurance documentation, underwriting approvals, policy requirements, and transaction workflows.
- Strong data validation, reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and manage exceptions effectively.
- Ability to follow SOPs, checklists, quality procedures, and compliance guidelines consistently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder coordination, queries, and exception tracking.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook.
- Exposure to agency management systems, policy administration systems, insurance portals, or carrier platforms is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple transactions, and meet deadlines and SLAs.
- Should be Flexible with 24*7
