We are looking for an experienced Core Banking Project Manager to join TCL in a full-time role and lead a major Finastra Fusion Essence implementation in Qatar. This is a high-visibility international assignment with direct exposure to senior bank stakeholders, Finastra/OEM teams and a multi-disciplinary onsite/offshore delivery organization.

The role provides strong professional exposure and learning across consulting, customization, data migration, testing, cutover, go-live and stabilization - including Conventional and Islamic Banking. It is an opportunity to own a challenging CBS transformation end-to-end and significantly strengthen international implementation credentials.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day delivery of the CBS implementation activities under our scope and keep all workstreams aligned to the overall bank/Finastra plan.
- Own the Consulting, Data Migration and Customization streams, coordinating functional, technical, QA and migration teams across onsite and offshore locations.
- Maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, action trackers, status reporting and management updates.
- Drive workshops, configuration, customizations, migration cycles, SIT/UAT, defect closure, mock migrations, cutover and go-live readiness.
- Identify risks and cross-stream dependencies early, drive decisions to closure, and manage escalations with the bank, Finastra and internal leadership.




- Represent the delivery organization in project governance and steering meetings and lead the engagement through go-live and stabilization.

Ideal Profile

- Strong experience managing Core Banking System implementation or transformation projects.
- Good understanding of the CBS lifecycle: requirements, configuration, customization, integration, data migration, testing, cutover, go-live and stabilization.
- Strong stakeholder management, planning, risk management, escalation, communication and leadership skills in a demanding customer-facing environment.
- Finastra Fusion Essence experience is highly preferred; strong experience with another leading CBS platform is also relevant. Islamic Banking exposure is an advantage.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to drive multiple teams, open issues and decisions to closure.

Employment & Assignment Terms This is a full time employment opportunity with TSSL. The selected Project Manager will be expected to reside in Qatar and lead the onsite implementation through its planned completion in December 2027. Upon completion of the Qatar project, the employee will continue with TCL and can take up subsequent banking, technology or international delivery assignments based on organizational requirements.
