Role Description The Project Manager role at LSI is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Project

Manager will oversee end-to-end project execution for architectural lighting installations, including planning, scheduling, coordinating stakeholders, and monitoring progress against timelines and budgets. Daily responsibilities include managing expediting activities with suppliers and logistics partners, supervising inspections and quality checks, and ensuring timely delivery and installation of lighting products.



The role involves close collaboration with internal engineering and design teams, external vendors, and clients to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and maintain high service standards.

The Project

Manager will also prepare project documentation, status reports, and post-implementation reviews to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination
- Expeditor and Expediting skills for tracking orders, follow-ups with suppliers, and ensuring timely deliveries
- Inspection capabilities for quality assurance of products and on-site installations
- Logistics Management skills for coordinating shipments, storage, and on-site material handling
- Experience managing technical or construction-related projects, preferably in lighting, architecture, or engineering
- Solid organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and comfort interacting with clients and vendors
- Proficiency in project management tools and basic MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field is preferred
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and travel to project locations as needed
