The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all finishing works for mall projects, including flooring, painting, false ceilings, wall finishes, facade finishes, joinery, fixtures, and interior fit-outs. The role requires close coordination with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality finishes in line with design intent, project timelines, safety standards, and budget requirements.

Role & responsibilities

- Manage and supervise all finishing activities including flooring, painting, false ceilings, wall cladding, decorative finishes, facade elements, and common area fit-outs.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of finishing works.
- Review drawings, specifications, material submittals, and finish schedules to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Plan and monitor finishing work schedules, material procurement, delivery timelines, and manpower deployment.
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones while maintaining quality, cost, and safety standards.
- Oversee selection, approval, and application of finishing materials to achieve the desired aesthetic and functional outcomes.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, material quality, and adherence to approved designs and specifications.




- Provide technical guidance to site teams, contractors, and subcontractors on finishing methodologies and quality requirements.
- Identify, resolve, and close site-related issues, defects, and snags during execution and handover stages.
- Ensure all finishing works comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate testing, inspections, punch-list closure, and final handover activities.
- Monitor material wastage, productivity, and cost control measures to optimize project performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends, cutting-edge materials, and modern finishing techniques to enhance project quality and efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in finishing works for commercial, retail, mall, hospitality, or large-scale mixed-use projects.
- Strong knowledge of flooring systems, painting, false ceilings, wall finishes, facade works, interior fit-outs, and finishing materials.
- Experience in contractor management, quality control, project coordination, and site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, and construction drawings.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
