Role & Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise, and execute day-to-day bridge construction activities as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project schedule.

- Supervise foundation, piling, pile caps, piers, pier caps, abutments, bearings, girders, deck slabs, parapets, expansion joints, and approach road works.

- Ensure proper line, level, alignment, dimensions, and reinforcement detailing at every stage of construction.

- Coordinate with the Project Manager, client/consultant, survey team, QA/QC team, safety team, subcontractors, and suppliers.

- Prepare daily and weekly work plans and monitor progress against project targets.

- Manage manpower, machinery, materials, and subcontractors to ensure optimum productivity.

- Check reinforcement, shuttering, concrete works, and other activities before execution/concreting.

- Monitor material consumption, wastage, and site requirements.

- Verify quantities and measurements of completed works and assist in RA bills and subcontractor bills.

- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, inspection requests, test reports, and photographic documentation.

- Identify technical issues and coordinate with the Project Manager/consultant for timely resolution.

- Ensure compliance with IS, IRC, MoRTH and project-specific specifications.

- Ensure strict compliance with site safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe working practices.

- Monitor quality, productivity, project timelines, and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile





- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred;

- 38 years of relevant experience in bridge, highway, or infrastructure construction.

- Candidates with hands-on experience in bridge construction will be preferred.

- Experience in piling, foundations, RCC structures, girder/deck slab works, reinforcement, shuttering, and concrete works.

- Good knowledge of structural drawings, BOQ, quantity measurement, and construction methods.

- Knowledge of IS/IRC/MoRTH specifications is preferred.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel; knowledge of MS Project/Primavera is an advantage.

- Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to independently manage site activities and manpower.

- Willingness to work at project locations and adapt to site conditions.

- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may be considered for junior-level positions.
