About the PositionNJL Construction Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Project Engineer to manage and coordinate the execution of our Church Construction Project at Kollam, Kerala.

The Project Engineer will be responsible for overall site execution, project planning, manpower coordination, material management, quality control, quantity measurement, client/consultant coordination and timely completion of works.

Key Responsibilities

- Take overall responsibility for day-to-day project execution and site management.
- Plan and monitor construction activities according to the project schedule.
- Supervise civil, RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, finishing and other construction works.
- Read and interpret architectural, structural and service drawings and ensure proper execution.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, skilled workers, subcontractors and vendors.
- Monitor manpower deployment and ensure optimum utilization of labour.
- Plan daily and weekly work targets and monitor actual progress.
- Check quality of materials and workmanship at every stage of construction.
- Check levels, dimensions, alignment, reinforcement, shuttering, concrete and other critical works.
- Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), work records, site photographs and other project documentation.
- Take measurements of completed works and verify quantities against BOQ/drawings.
- Assist in RA bills,



contractor bills, quantity verification and project cost monitoring.
- Prepare material requirements and coordinate with the office/procurement team for timely supply.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with the client, consultant, architect and other project representatives.
- Identify technical/site issues and provide practical solutions in coordination with the management.
- Ensure construction activities are completed within the planned time, cost and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and immediately report delays, shortages or technical issues to management.
- Ensure proper safety practices and housekeeping are maintained at the site.
- Maintain proper records through the company's ERP/app-based reporting system.
- Coordinate with the office team regarding project requirements, progress and site issues.
- Support project handover, finishing and rectification works.

Required Qualification & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction/site/project execution.
- Experience in building construction, church construction, renovation, structural works or institutional projects will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, measurements and BOQ.




- Good knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD and construction ERP/mobile applications.
- Ability to independently manage site activities and coordinate multiple teams.

Key: The candidate must be willing to stay at the Kollam project site for the duration of the project. Site Accommodation & FoodFor the selected candidate:

- Accommodation will be provided at the project site.
- Food will be provided.
- The position requires the candidate to be site-based/residential at Kollam.
- Candidates should be comfortable staying away from their home location as required by the project.
