Role Overview

We are looking for a SQL/PLSQL Developer with Production Support experience who can work on business-critical applications in a high-impact BFSI setting. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in SQL/PLSQL development along with the ability to troubleshoot production issues, analyze data, and support live systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2/L3 production support for critical applications
- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL code
- Monitor daily batch jobs and production processes; resolve failures within SLA timelines
- Perform data analysis and debugging to identify root causes of production issues




- Work closely with development teams for bug fixes, enhancements, and permanent resolutions
- Analyze application logs, database issues, and performance bottlenecks
- Support deployments, releases, and environment monitoring
- Maintain support documentation and knowledge base
- Participate in on-call support and rotational shifts, if required

Required Skills

- 2+ years of experience in SQL/PLSQL development + Production Support
- Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience in writing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and query optimization
- Experience with Informatica and data analysis
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and basic shell scripting
- Experience with job schedulers like Control-M / Autosys (preferred)
- Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
- Ability to analyze logs, data issues, and production incidents

- Ability to work under high-pressure production environments

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Strong SQL/PLSQL developer currently working in a production support environment (L2/L3)
- Experience in BFSI / Fintech / Data-heavy applications is a plus
- Comfortable handling live production issues along with development tasks
