Senior Merchandiser – Tiny Twills

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development

- Coordinate with the design team to develop recent collections as per seasonal requirements.
- Understand tech packs, sketches, specifications, fabrics, trims, colours and construction details.

1. Production & Order Management

- Plan and monitor the complete order cycle from sampling to bulk production and dispatch.
- Coordinate with production, sourcing, quality and warehouse teams.
- Follow up on production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Identify delays or production issues and take corrective action proactively.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved samples and specifications.

1. Sourcing & Vendor Management

- Coordinate with fabric, trims and accessory suppliers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manufacturers.
- Negotiate prices, lead times and production requirements where required.
- Ensure timely availability of fabrics, trims and other raw materials.

1. Costing & Commercials

- Prepare detailed product costing and maintain cost sheets.
- Work closely with sourcing and production teams to achieve target costs.
- Monitor material consumption, wastage and production costs.
- Support the team in improving margins without compromising quality.

1. Quality & Compliance

- Coordinate with the quality team to maintain Tiny Twills' quality standards.
- Ensure proper quality checks at sampling, pre-production and bulk production stages.
- Address quality issues with vendors and production teams.
- Ensure final products meet approved specifications and standards.

1. Coordination & Team Management

- Act as the key link between Design,



Production, Sourcing, Quality, Warehouse and Management.
- Track multiple styles and orders simultaneously.
- Maintain detailed T&A; (Time & Action) calendars and ensure deadlines are met.
- Guide junior merchandisers and support them in managing their accounts/styles.
- Provide regular updates to management on order status, challenges and timelines.

Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of apparel/kidswear merchandising.
- Excellent understanding of garment manufacturing and production processes.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction and costing.
- Excellent vendor and production follow-up skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Good knowledge of Excel and merchandising/ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Attention to detail and strong ownership of work.

Preferred Candidate
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in apparel merchandising, preferably kidswear.
- Experience working with garment manufacturers and suppliers.
- Experience handling the complete product lifecycle from development to dispatch.
- Candidates with experience in export merchandising will be an added advantage.
- Should be proactive, organized, commercially aware and comfortable working in a fast-paced growing brand environment.

Salary: ₹40,000 per month onwards, depending on experience and suitability. Location: Surat, Gujarat

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
