Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Production Manager / Production In-Charge to oversee day-to-day production activities, ensure efficient utilization of manpower and materials, maintain product quality and safety standards, and achieve production targets within the scheduled time.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan and schedule.
- Manage and allocate manpower effectively across production sections.
- Monitor the operation of production machinery and equipment.
- Ensure proper utilization of raw materials, packaging materials, and other resources.
- Coordinate with Quality Control, Inventory, Purchase, and Dispatch departments for smooth production operations.
- Monitor production processes to ensure products are manufactured according to company standards and specifications.
- Maintain proper production records, reports, and documentation.
- Monitor wastage, production losses, and material consumption and take corrective action when required.
- Ensure proper hygiene, cleanliness, food safety, and housekeeping standards within the production area.
- Identify production-related problems and take timely corrective action.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize machine breakdowns and production downtime.
- Train, guide, and supervise production workers and operators.
- Ensure employees follow company rules, safety procedures,



and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor shift-wise production performance and report issues to management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce costs, and minimize wastage.
- Ensure finished products are properly packed, labelled, and transferred to the appropriate area.
- Maintain discipline and proper work practices among production staff.
- Perform any other production-related responsibilities assigned by the management.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of food manufacturing and production processes.
- Strong manpower handling and team management skills.
- Good planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of production documentation and reporting.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with different departments.
- Basic computer knowledge, preferably MS Excel.

Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Food Technology, Mechanical, Production, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience in production, preferably in the food/FMCG manufacturing industry.
- Candidates with strong experience in handling production teams and plant operations may also be considered.
