We are looking for an experienced and highly hands-on Production Head - Metal & Wooden Fabrication to take complete ownership of our fabrication operations and execution.

Job Summary The Production Head - Metal & Wooden Fabrication will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of all metal and wooden fabrication work, from understanding the requirement and planning the work to fabrication, finishing, assembly, installation, and final execution.

This is a fully hands-on leadership role. The candidate will be responsible for handling fabrication work while leading, managing, and coordinating the entire fabrication team.

For event and exhibition projects, the candidate should have the practical expertise to execute and manage all types of fabrication requirements, including stalls, stands, stages, backdrops, display structures, counters, partitions, frames, branding structures, and customized installations.

Key Responsibilities

- Take complete ownership of end-to-end metal and wooden fabrication work, from planning to final execution.
- Lead, manage, and coordinate the entire fabrication team, including fabricators, carpenters, helpers, and supervisors.
- This is a fully hands-on leadership role. The candidate must be capable of personally handling fabrication work while also leading, managing, and coordinating the entire fabrication team.
- Personally carry out fabrication work when required and guide the team throughout the project.
- Handle metal cutting, fabrication, joining, grinding, finishing, assembly, and structural work.
- Handle wood cutting, carpentry, assembly, laminating, polishing, painting, finishing, and installation.




- Execute and manage fabrication for events, exhibitions, stalls, stands, stages, backdrops, counters, display units, partitions, frames, and customized structures.
- Understand drawings, designs, measurements, and project requirements and convert them into accurate fabrication work.
- Plan and allocate daily work to fabricators, carpenters, helpers, and other production staff.
- Manage manpower, materials, tools, machinery, and timelines for each project.
- Ensure proper quality, finishing, strength, measurements, and overall execution of the fabrication work.
- Troubleshoot fabrication and execution challenges and provide practical solutions.
- Coordinate with Design, Project, Procurement, and Installation teams.
- Manage fabrication, assembly, dismantling, and installation activities as required for events and projects.
- Ensure projects are completed within the required timeline and specifications.
- Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient utilization of materials and resources.
- Maintain proper safety standards and ensure a clean and organized workshop.
- Take responsibility for the final quality and completion of the fabrication work.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in metal and wooden fabrication, events, exhibitions, interiors, retail fit-outs, or related industries.
- Strong practical knowledge of both metal and wooden fabrication.
- Proven experience in end-to-end fabrication execution, from raw material to final installation.
- Experience in executing event and exhibition fabrication, including stages, stands, backdrops, counters, display structures, and customized setups.




- Ability to personally execute fabrication work while leading and managing a team.
- Strong technical, planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Wood Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working on large-scale events, exhibitions, brand activations, retail projects, or interior fit-outs will be an advantage.
- Experience with fabrication machinery, tools, and workshop equipment.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and fabrication drawings.

We are looking for a hands-on fabrication expert and leader who can take complete responsibility for a project and get the work done.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand the requirement, plan the fabrication, arrange manpower and materials, personally work on fabrication when required, guide the team, manage production, oversee finishing and assembly, and ensure the final installation is completed properly.

For example, if we receive an event project requiring a stage, backdrop, stand, counters, display structures, branding elements, and other wooden/metal structures, the candidate should be capable of handling the complete fabrication process from start to finish.

This is not a supervisory-only or desk-based position. The candidate must be hands-on and willing to actively work on fabrication.
