Responsible for managing shift-level injection molding production, manpower, machine utilization, quality, and coordination with support functions to achieve production targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day shift production operations for injection molding.
- Achieve daily and weekly production targets as per plan.
- Optimize manpower allocation across machines and production lines.
- Monitor machine utilization, cycle time, output, and downtime.
- Ensure smooth machine changeovers and minimize production losses.
- Monitor in-process quality and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Coordinate with Maintenance for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with Quality and other support teams to resolve production issues.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and process-related defects.
- Maintain shift-wise production records and prepare handover reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety, 5S, SOPs, and shop-floor discipline.
