Position: Production Batch Coordinator

Reporting To: Production Manager / Factory Manager

Location: Surat Factory

Job Summary The Production Batch Coordinator is responsible for planning, issuing, monitoring, and closing production batches to ensure manufacturing activities are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with quality standards, production schedules, and company procedures. The role acts as a link between Production, Stores, Quality Assurance (QA), and Planning to ensure smooth batch execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue production batch documents as per the approved production plan.

Verify availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and production documents before batch commencement.

Coordinate with Stores for timely issuance of raw and packing materials.

Ensure production batches are executed as per approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Monitor batch progress and update production status regularly.

Maintain batch-wise production records, yield reports, wastage reports, and reconciliation reports.

Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team for in-process checks, approvals, and batch release requirements.

Ensure all production documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.

Track batch completion against production schedules and escalate delays to the Production Manager.

Ensure traceability of all production batches from raw material issuance to finished goods.

Coordinate with the Planning team to prioritize production as per business requirements.

Maintain compliance with GMP, safety standards, housekeeping,



and company policies.

Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper production records.

Analyze batch losses, production variances, and downtime, and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure timely closure of production batches in ERP/production systems (if applicable).

Qualifications:

Alternatively, B.Sc./M.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Sciences, or a related field

4–6 years of experience in production coordination, preferably in perfumes, cosmetics, FMCG, or manufacturing.

Skills Required:

Production planning and coordination

Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) management

ERP/MRP knowledge (SAP, Spine, Tally, or similar systems)

Strong documentation skills

Positive analytical and problem-solving ability

Excellent coordination and communication skills

Knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and safety practices

Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office

Working Conditions

Factory-based role.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
