Product Support & QA Specialist
Technical Support • Testing • Product Quality For people who cannot leave a problem unexplained. Position: Product Support & QA Specialist
Location: Gurgaon, Haryana, India
Experience: Exceptional Freshers / Early Career Professionals
Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite
About The Company
Akrisso Innovations Private Limited is an AI technology company built around a easy belief: AI is only as powerful as the human mind directing it. We look for people who know their craft deeply, think logically, question the obvious and use AI as a tool to extend their ability, not replace it. If you rely on AI to think, create or code for you, Akrisso may not be the right place. We are looking for people with the judgement, curiosity and skill to shape AI, control it and use it to create work that would not be possible otherwise.
About This Role
We are looking for someone who is naturally suspicious of things that “seem to work.” Someone who clicks the button nobody else clicks.
Changes the input nobody thought to test.
Repeats the action in the wrong order.
Asks what happens when the network drops, the user behaves unexpectedly, or the system returns something it should not.
This role sits between technical support, product testing and quality assurance.
You will help users when something goes wrong, but your responsibility does not end with answering the question.
You should want to understand:
What actually happened?
Can we reproduce it?
Is it a user issue, product issue, configuration issue or something deeper?
Why did our testing not catch it earlier?
How do we stop it happening again?
We are looking for someone who enjoys investigation more than assumptions.
Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
- Test web and AI-enabled products before and after releases.
- Identify bugs, inconsistencies and unexpected behaviours.
- Reproduce reported issues systematically.
- Troubleshoot technical and product-related problems.
- Document bugs clearly with steps, evidence and expected behaviour.
- Test different user journeys, devices, browsers and scenarios.
- Work with developers to verify fixes.
- Perform regression testing after changes.
- Assist users with technical product issues.
- Distinguish user misunderstanding from actual product defects.
- Identify recurring support issues and convert them into useful product feedback.
- Improve support documentation and knowledge resources.
- Think beyond expected use cases and deliberately explore edge cases.
- Help maintain a consistently high standard of product quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Your Craft
You should have strong foundations in:
- Logical troubleshooting
- Manual software testing
- Bug reporting
- Test-case thinking
- Web applications
- Browser developer tools
- Basic APIs
- Basic databases
- Technical documentation
- User journeys
- Regression testing
- Clear written communication
Knowledge of Postman, SQL, API testing, automation testing, Git, basic coding or testing frameworks is an advantage. You do not need to be a developer.
But technology should not intimidate you.
What We Notice
We notice people who:
- Naturally try the thing nobody expected the user to do.
- Ask “what changed?” before assuming the cause.
- Can reproduce an issue instead of simply reporting that something is broken.
- Notice inconsistencies other people ignore.
- Keep investigating after the obvious fix fails.
- Think about the system rather than just the symptom.
- Can explain a technical issue clearly to both developers and non-technical users.
- Enjoy finding patterns across seemingly unrelated problems.
- Are curious about how software actually behaves.
- Feel slightly dissatisfied when a problem disappears before they understand why.
Testing Is More Than Clicking Around
Good testing is not: open page → click button → works → pass.
You should think about
- What happens with the wrong input?
- What happens with no input?
- What happens twice?
- What happens on a slower connection?
- What happens when a user goes backwards?
- What happens when one service fails?
- What happens when the system receives something unexpected?
- What happens after an update?
- What would a real user do that the developer never imagined?
We want someone who thinks beyond the happy path.
Support Is More Than Giving Answers
When a user says:
> “Your product isn't working.”
Your first instinct should not be to send instructions. It should be to understand the situation.
What were they trying to do?
What happened instead?
Can it be reproduced?
What environment were they using?
Was there an error?
Did anything change?
What evidence do we have?
Strong support is part communication, part investigation and part product intelligence.
AI & Your Craft
AI can suggest test cases. It cannot know which ones actually matter.
AI can suggest a possible cause.
That does not make the cause correct.
AI can generate a customer response.
It cannot determine whether you have actually understood the problem.
We expect you to use AI intelligently for documentation, investigation, test-case expansion and repetitive work.
But you should never accept a generated explanation without verifying it.
AI can assist the investigation.
You remain responsible for the conclusion.
You Might Fit Unusually Well If
- You enjoy finding flaws in things that appear finished.
- You instinctively test boundaries.
- You are unusually patient with difficult problems.
- You notice tiny inconsistencies.
- You enjoy asking “what if?”
- You can think like both a user and a system.
- You like understanding root causes.
- You would rather reproduce a bug than guess why it happened.
- You are comfortable telling a developer, respectfully, “I can still break this.”
You Might Not Enjoy This Role If
- You believe testing means following a checklist without thinking.
- You escalate issues before investigating them.
- You assume the user is wrong.
- You become bored by troubleshooting.
- You are satisfied when a bug disappears without knowing why.
- You dislike documentation.
- You avoid technical details.
- You expect developers to find every problem themselves.
- You use AI answers without verifying them.
