Job Title: Product Quality Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Product Quality Lead to lead quality assurance, technical compliance, vendor quality, and new product introduction activities for our Solar Rooftop and BESS portfolio. The role will be responsible for ensuring product reliability, regulatory compliance, and successful market launches.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive end-to-end product quality management for Solar Rooftop and BESS products.
2. Lead quality assurance, validation, and performance optimization of BESS, Grid-Tie Inverters, and Solar DCR Modules.
3. Support Current Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring product readiness for commercialization.
4. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
5. Manage technical compliance and certifications, including BIS, IEC, and other applicable standards.
6. Own vendor quality management, supplier assessments, audits, and performance improvement initiatives.
7. Ensure proper product handling, testing, inspection, and validation processes.
8. Support Product Managers as a technical expert for product evaluation, quality, compliance, and certification requirements.
9. Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Support technical troubleshooting and resolution of product quality and performance issues.

Key Requirements

1. Bachelors degree in electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related discipline.
2. 8-12 years of experience in Product Quality, Technical Compliance, Supplier Quality, or Product Engineering.
3. Experience in Solar PV, BESS, Energy Storage, Inverters, Power Electronics, or Renewable Energy sectors.

Must-Have Skills

1. Strong understanding of BIS & IEC certifications and standards.
2. Product Quality Management & Quality Assurance.
3. New Product Development (NPD) and Product Launch Management.
4. Vendor Quality Management.
5. Technical Compliance & Certification Management.
6. Experience with BESS, Grid-Tie Inverters, and Solar DCR Modules.
7. Product testing, validation, and reliability assessment.
8. Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and continuous improvement methodologies.

A technically strong quality professional with proven experience in renewable energy products, capable of ensuring quality excellence across product development, compliance, vendor management, and successful market launches. (please do not apply in case you don't have exposure of solar industry)
