Role Description The Product Manager role at Paul Merchants is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh.

The Product

Manager will oversee the lifecycle of assigned lending and payment products, including market analysis, requirements gathering, roadmap planning, and feature prioritization. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, operations, and technology to define product specifications, coordinate development, and ensure timely delivery. The role involves monitoring product performance, analyzing customer feedback, and recommending enhancements to improve usability, competitiveness, and profitability.

Manager will also prepare product documentation, align stakeholders on product goals,



and support go-to-market activities and training initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong product management skills, including product lifecycle management, roadmap planning, and requirements definition.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and translate customer and business needs into explicit product strategies.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, with solid communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence in project planning and coordination, with attention to detail and the ability to manage timelines and priorities.
- Understanding of basic financial concepts related to product performance, such as pricing, margins, and revenue analysis.
- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, project management platforms).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or MBA is an advantage.
- Prior experience in product management, business analysis, or a related role within a corporate or conglomerate environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated problem-solving mindset, customer-centric approach, and readiness to work on-site in Chandigarh.
