We are looking for a Procurement Officer to manage the purchase of food, beverages, kitchen supplies, packaging, and other materials required for smooth restaurant operations. The role will focus on vendor coordination, cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery, and maintaining proper procurement records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day procurement activities as per business requirements.
- Source and coordinate with vendors for required materials.
- Collect quotations and compare prices, quality, and terms.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing.
- Raise and process purchase orders as per approved requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to outlets and stores.
- Coordinate with stores and operations for stock requirements.
- Check product quality, quantity, and specifications with the concerned team.
- Maintain vendor records, purchase orders, quotations,
and invoices.
- Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Follow company procurement policies and approval processes.
- Resolve vendor-related issues regarding quality, pricing, and delivery.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with reliable suppliers.
- Coordinate with Finance and Stores for invoice and payment processing.
- Prepare regular procurement and vendor performance reports.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of procurement and vendor management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and procurement documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements and work within deadlines.
- F&B;/Restaurant procurement experience will be preferred.
